On behalf of all the elves at Sandy's Stocking, we want to thank you for your support and participation. In our six seasons, we have provided around 10,000 stuffed stockings to children in need throughout Kane and McHenry counties!
We have made the difficult decision to put Sandy's Stocking on hiatus for the 2023 season. While we will not be facilitating our usual Sandy's Stocking season, we will be partnering with another fantastic agency (Fill A Heart 4 Kids) that serves children in need. We will be providing Fill A Heart 4 Kids with the goods to stuff at least a 1000 stockings! In addition, we will be providing the D300 Food Pantry with gift cards and goods to utilize in their work serving families and kids in need.
Please know that while our elves are sad about this decision, it is the best one for us at this time. We cannot yet tell you when or how, but, rest assured, THE ELVES WILL BE BACK!
PLEASE NOTE: while any funds received will continue to be utilized to fulfill our core mission (helping kids in need) and our 501(c)3 remains intact, we have temporarily shut off our electronic means of receiving donations (Facebook & Zeffy) and will not be actively pursuing donations or any sort of other contributions until further notice.
